Sweet Dreams
Buried in the infinite solace of your mind. Tomorrow the sun will rise. Eyes closed to possibilities. However diminutive; abstract; paranoid, light can shine through the smallest crack, this is what I know.
I exist, this is what I know.
Flip a coin once and it lands on heads. Flip it again and it lands on heads. Flip it a hundred times and every time it lands on heads. Flip it once more. Don't even look at it, you already know what it's landed on, right?
One day I will die, this is what I know.
Cursed by the sun, the man who walks on an empty path can watch his every step. With the earth casting a veil of darkness, he is free to watch. Observe that which does not show itself and admire it's complexity. Patience to witness the birth of a new day, remarkable.
There is a God, this is what some people know.
The earth is flat, this is what we knew.
Putting all faith into these things they know. Wasting their lives because they already know everything. What's left to contemplate? Don't wait to find the answer, it's always been safe before.
Tomorrow the sun will rise, this is what we know.
